417) 426 Paid to Coll Philip Lightfoot & Coll Thomas Pate and Either off them their heyres Executors and assignes all such debts dues and demands as have accreud and been any waÿes iustly and Lawfully die to them for or by reason off his Imprisonment as alsoe such other debts and demands as are Lawfully due to anÿ other person or persons in Virginia at some convenient place betweene Namgerny and S.t Marÿes in the province off Marÿland aforsaid As by the said obligacon and Condition amongst other things therein Conteyned relacon being thereunto had maÿ more fully and att Large appeare Now this Indenture Wittnesseth that the said George Talbot to the intent to Countersecure same and keepe harmlesse and indemnified him the said Edward Pye his heires Executors and administrators and his and their Lands goods and Chattles for or by reason off the Entreing into off the above receited bond and for divers other good Consideracons him thereunto Moving hath given granted bargained sold aliened and Confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell alien and Confirme to him the said Edward Pye his heyres & assignes All that tract off Land or parcell off Land now Called susque hannough at New Connaught Manno.r Lyeing in Cæcill Countÿ aforesaid begining att the furthest and uppermost source and fontaine head of Nor^th^east River Now Called Shennon River from thence butting and bounding as followeth Viz.t by a Lyne drawne Northwest till it intersect Octoraro River then by the said river till it fall into susquehannaugh River and by that River to the mouth thereoff from thence by the head off the baÿ off chesipiake to the mouth off Northeast or Shennon River and by the said river to the head thereoff conteyning by Estimacon thirtÿ two thousand acres bee it More or Lesse togeather w.th all houses Ediffices buildings profit and Comodities to the same Mannor and premisses belonging or in anÿ wise ought to have off in or to the said mannor & premisses and all writeings Grants & Evidences apperteÿning and all his right title Estate Clayme and Demand w.ch hee the said George Talbot now hath may might should or in any wise ought to have off in or to the same To have and to hold the said thirtÿ two thousand acres off Land Mannor & premisses aforesaid with their and Everÿ off their appurtnences to him the said Edward Pÿe his heyres and assignes to the only use proper use and behoofe off the said Edward Pÿe his heyres and assignes for Ever and the said George Talbot doth for himselfe his heyres Execut.rs and administrators Covenant promise grannt and agree to and with the said Edward Pye his heires and assignes by these presents that he the said George Talbot his heyres and assignes shall and will at all tymes here after for and during the terme off seaven years Next Ensweing the Date off these presents doe make acknowledge Execute and suffer or Cause to bee Made done acknowledged Executed and suffered all and Every such further Lawfull act & acts thing & things Devise and Devises Conveÿances and assurances the Lawe whatsoever for the further and better assureing the said Mannor Lands & premisses to the said Edward Pye his heyres and assignes for Ever as by the Councell off the said Edward shal bee reasonably devised advised or required Provided Never the Lesse and it is the true |
