425 (416 Maryland fs Know all men by these p.rsents that wee Richard Smith Junior off Calvert Countÿ m.rchant and Barbara his wife the Executrix off the Last will and testam.t off John Rousby Gent Decd the Execut.r off Christopher Rousby Esq.r Deced have made ordained & by these presents do make ordaine and appoint our trusty and well beloved frind Samuell Groome M.rchant in the Cittÿ off London in the kingdom off England our true and Lawfull attornÿ to aske require recover & Receive for us & in our Names & to our Use all such debts as were due Either to the said Christopher or y.e said John In their Life time & Now to us in Right off the Executor shipp off the said Barbara Executrix off the said John Execut.r off the said Christopher all and singular sumes off Monÿ debts dulyes demands Whatsoever they be off all person & persons in any wise due to us as aforsaid within the kingdome off England giving and granting to our said attorny full power and Lawfull authoritÿ for non payem off the said sumes of Monys Debts demands and dulies to arrest sue and Implyead Imprison and and Condemne all & Every such p.rson & p.rsons as shall demgh or do not upon demand pay or satisfye all such sumes off Money Debts & Dulies as are in any wide due unto us in Right off the Executorshipp as aforesaid & upon receipt off the said sumes of Monÿ goods & debts severall & Respective acquitances & other sufficient discharges for us & in our Names to make seall and deliver & one attor or more und.r him to make & all his pleasure to revoake against & further to doe all other things needfull for the Recoverÿ thereoff as Wee ourselves might doe Ratifÿing & Confirming whatsoever our said attor shall Lawfully doe or Cause to be done Concerning the premisses by these presents In Witness whereoff wee hereunto sett our hands & seales this twenty three day off March 1686 signed sealled & deliverd in the presence of Richard Smith Jun.r Phillip Lynes Barbara Smith Cha Beikwith This Indenture made the Eight and twentyeth Daÿ off December in the yeare off our Lord one thousand six hundred Eightÿ and six Betweene George Talbot of Cæcil Countÿ in the province off Marÿland Esq.r off the one part and Edward Pye off Charles Countÿ in the same province Esq.r off the other part discharge of this Mortgage Whereas the said Edward Pye att the speciall instance and request off the said and in fo.o 429 of this George Talbot did become bound with and for the said George Talbot in and by booke one bond of obligacon bearing date the two and twenyeth Day off December instant of the penaltÿ off Fifety thousand pound off good tobacco and Caske due to be payd to Isaac Allerton high sheriffe off the Countÿ off Westmerland in Virginia w.th Condicon there under written that iff the said George Talbott doe Well and truely at or upon the tenth daÿ off Octob.re next pay or Cause to be paid |
