421 (412 Dehinoyossa his heyres and assignes for Ever as by the said Johanes Dehinoÿossa his heyres and assignes or his or their Councell Learned in the Lawe shall bee Reasonablÿ Devised advised or required With further Conveÿance act or thing to be had and made as aforsaid shall be and Enure and to or for non other use intent or purpose Whatsoever In Wittness Wheroff the partyes above Named to these Present Indentures Interchangeably their hands and seales have putt the day and ÿeare first above Written signed sealed & Delivered Alexander De hinoÿossa in the psence of sealed Tho Impey Mathew On the backe side off the afor recited Deed Was Endorsed as followeth Memorandum that on the tenth day off March 1686/7 in the Twelfth yeare off the Dominion off Charles &c.a over this Province Came the Within Mentioned Alexander Dehinoÿossa before me W.m Digges one off his Lopps Justices off the Provinciall Court and acknowledged the Within Mentioned to be his act & Deed W.m Digges This Indenture made the tenth idn day of Septemb.re In the Eleaventh yeare off the Dominion off the Right honorabl Charles Lord Baron off Baltemore annoq Dm 1686 Betweene Thomas Cleggat off Calvert Countÿ in the province off Maryland Gent on the one parte and Michaell Miller off Kent County in the province aforesaid Gent on the other parte Witnesseth that the said Thomas Clegatt for & in Consideracon off the summe off thirtÿ seaven thousand and two hundred pounds off tobacco in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Michaell Miller before the Ensealing and deliverÿ here off the Receipt Whereoff he doth hereby acknowledge accordingly and himselfe there off and therewith fully satisfied and there off and Every part thereoff doth clearly acquite and Discharge the said Michaell Miller his heyres Execut.rs and administrat.rs & Every off them by these psents hath granted bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these psents doth fully Clearly and absolutely grant bargaine sell alien En feoff & Confirme Unto the said Michaell Miller & his heyres all that Manner tract or parcell off Land Called Goldingtons Manner lyeing on the East side off Cheasepeake baÿ and on the west side off a River in the said baÿ Called Chester River Beginning at a Marked oake upon a Cliffe Runing south West and by south downe the River for the breath off five hundred perches to a Marked Locust tree by a Creeke Called Goldingstons Creeke bounding on the North by a Line drawne from Goldington North west from the oake Upon the Cliffe for Length three hundred & twentÿ perches on the west by a line drawne south west & by south for breadth five hundred perches Untill itt Intersects a paralell drawne from Goldingtons Creeke on the south by the said Creeke and paralell on the East by the said River Conteyning one thousand acres be the same More or Lesse as it Lÿes & is bounded by the Naturall bounds thereoff togeather with all houses Ediffices buildings orchards gardens Easements Wayes fishings & fowlings & all & singular other the appurtenences rightes members & priviledges to the said Manner belonging or in any Manner off wise apperteyning and all the Estate right title & interest Use possession Clayme & demand What soever w.ch he the said Thomas Cleggat Now hath or off right ought to have & in & to all & singular the said bargained |
