419 (410 foure thousand five hundred pounds off sound merchantable tobacco and Caske well and sufficientÿ secured to be paid to the said John Cole Nicholas Cole and Thomas Gwyther and Marÿ his Wife by the said Richard Bentham by good bills under his hand and seale hath given granted bargained sold aliened and Confirmes and by these presents doth give grant bargaine sell alien and Confirme to the said Richard Bentham his heyres and assignes all thatt the aforesaid tract off Land called Daÿlÿes Desire Conteyning five hundred acres off Land more or lesse togeather with all rights members and appurtnences to the same belonging Royall Mynes Excepted and all Deeds pattents and Writteings touching and Concerning the same and all his the said W.m Asquiths right title and interest Clayme or Demand in or to the same or anÿ parte or parcell thereof To have and to hould the said tract off Land w.th the appurtnences to him the said Richard Bentham his heyres and assignes for Ever to the sole and onely use poper use and behoofe off the said Richard Bentham his heyres and assignes for Ever and to Noe other use intent or purpsse whatesoever In testimony Whereoff the said W.m Asquith hath hereunto sett his hand and seal the Day and yeare first above Written Was Written underneath as followeth William Aisquith signed sealed and Delivered sealed in the presence off us These words [Fifteenth] [and by these presents doth give grant bargaine sell alien and Confirme] first Interlyned Robert Carvile On the backe side off the afore receited Deed was Endorsed as William Dent foll viz.t Acknowledged in Open Court March 4.th 1686 Edw Boothby Clk This Indenture made the seaventh day off Aprill & In the Eleaventh year of the Dominion off the RIght honorab Charles absolute Lord and proprietary off the provinces off Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron off Baltemore & Anno Domini one thousand six hundred Eightÿ and six Betweene Alexander Dehinoÿossa off Kent Countÿ in the province of Maryland Gent off the one partÿ and Johanes Dehinoyossa off the same Countÿ and province aforesaid Gent off the other other part Wittnesseth Thatt the said Alexander Dehinoÿossa for and in Consideracon off the sume off Eightÿ five pounds sterling Lawfull monÿ off England to him in hand paid by the sd Johanes Dehinoÿossa before the Ensealing and deliverÿ off these psents the Receipt Whereoff the said Alexander Dehinoyossa Doth hereby acknowledge and there off and Every part and parcell there off Doth acquitt Exonerate and Discharge the said Johanes Dehinoyssa his heyres Exect.rs and administrat.rs firmly by these presents hath given Granted bargained sold aliened Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these psents doth give grant Bargaine sell alien Release Enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said Johanes Dehinoÿossa his heyres and assignes for Ever one Moÿetÿ or halfe off a Certain Island Lyeing in Kent County Comonly Called or knowne by the Name off Popelors Island Being parte of Tomsons Mannor Conteining Nine hundred acres off land to be Equally Devided which said Island formerly granted to as by patent for the same itt Doth att Large appear bearing Date the Day off anno Domini together with one halfe off the Dwelling houses outhouses |
