409) 418 off her said husband and the said Richard & Sarah Doth both acknowledge the same to bee their act & Deed to the within Named W.m Asquith In Wittnesse Whereoff Wee have hereunto sett our hands the &&iij.th day off Februarÿ Ao Dm 1686 Henrÿ Darnall Clement Hill This Indenture made the first Day off March in the yeare off our Lord one thousand six hundred Eightÿ and six Betweene W.m Asquith off S.t Maryes Countÿ in the Province off Maryland Gent off the one part and Richard Bentham off the same Countÿ Bricklayer off the other parte Whereas W.m Clawe Late off S.t Jeromes in the said County planter Deed by his Last Will and testament in Writeing bearing Date the first Day off October in the yeare off our Lord one thousand six hundred seventÿ and five did give and bequeath to Sarah his wife Now the wife off of the said Richard Bentham all thatt tract off Land Lyeing at the head off Sassafrox River Called by the Name off Daÿlyes Desire and to her heÿres and Whereas the said Richard Bentham and the said Sarah his wife by their Deed Indented bearing Date the fifteenth Daÿ of Novemb.re Last past for and in Consideracon off the sume off five shillings off Lawfull Moneÿ off England to him in hand paid by the said W.m Asquith the receipt where off theÿ did thereby acknowledge and for and in Consideracon off the Love and affection they Beare toward John Cole Nicholas Cole and Marÿ Gwyther wife off Thomas Gwyther all of S.t Marÿes Countÿ aforesaid Children off the said Sarah by W.m Cole Late off the said Countÿ Planter her first husband deced and for the Raiseing off tobacco for their better advancem.t and Lively hood Did give grant alien sell Enfeaffe and confirme unto the said W.m Asquith his heyres and assignes for Ever all the afforesaid tract off Land Called Daylyes Desire in the said Deed sett forth particularlÿ sett forth butted and bounded Conteÿning and formerly Laid out for five hundred acres more or lesse togeather With all Rights proffitt and Comodities to the same belonging (Royall Mynes Excepted) and all patents Deeds and writeings touching the same and and all their the said Richard Bentham and Sarah his wife right title interest Clayme and demand in and ^to^ the same To have and to hould the said tract off Land to him the said Asquith his heyres and assignes for Ever as by the said Indenture remaineing up in record in the secretaryes Office off this province relacons being thereunto had may more fully and att Large appeare Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said W.m Asquith for and in the Consideracon off the Like sume off five shillings of Lawfull Money off England to him the said W.m Asquith in hand paid att and before the Ensealing and deliverÿ off these presents by the said Richard Bentham The receipt Whereoff the said W.m Asquith doth hereby acknowledge and alsoe for and in Consideracon off the sume |
