This Account p.rsented to Coll William Stevens and M.r Samuell Cooper this Fourteenth of March 1684/5 Jn.o Woodside Maryland fs To the Hon.ble Coll Henry Darnall and the Hon.ble Coll William Diggs Comissarys Genall and Deputys for the Governm.t and alsoe to Nehemiah Blackiston Comptrowler and Surveyo.r Generall of his Majestys Customes in the Province of Maryland fs Whereas a Provinciall Court held the Citty of S.t Marys the sixth day of March in the Tenth yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Baltemo.r &c Annoq.r Dm 1684 the ship Robert of Larue in Ireland was informed against tryed and Condemned and whereas the Court Ordered (by Consent of Nehemiah Blackiston and Samuel Cooper) that Cap.t John Osbourne M.r James Dasheile M.r Richard Whitty and M.r John King should be appoynted to veiw appraise and vallue the said ship Amunicon guns Tackle and apparrell to the said Shipp belonging and goods menconed in the Informacon on or before the last day of March These are therefore humbly to Certifie that the said persons so appoynted appeared before me and tooke the oath of an Appraisor and on the Nineteenth day of March did appraise the said Shipp with her Tackle furniture and apparrell amunicon and guns to one hundred and fifty pounds Sterling and afterwards the goods menconed in the Informacon were by Cap.t John Osbourne M.r John King and M.r Richard Whitty appraised to Eleaven pounds and one shilling eight pence sterling which appraisement was returned the Twenty Eighth day of March last past All w.ch I doe Certifie under my hand and seale the second day of Aprill Anno Dm 1685 Will Stevens (sealed) Whereas it was Ordered that wee the subscribers should take an accompt in writeing of the wages due to each Seaman in or belonging to the Ship Robert Larue and to report and send the same together and a long with the appraisement of the said shipp and goods to the Hon.ble Coll Henry Darnall the Hon.ble Coll William Digges and M.r Nehemiah Blackistone or either of them w.ch Report wee have taken from the Master of the said Shipp (not haveing oppertunity to take an accompt of each perticuler Seaman) who hath given an accompt of one hundred Forty Eight pounds one shilling w.ch said accompt wee transmitted to the Hon.ble Coll Darnall Coll William Digges and M.r Nehemiah Blackistone Aprill the 2.d An.o Dm 1685 Will Stevens (sealed) Sam Cooper (sealed) Maryland fs To all people to whome this p.rsent writeing shall Come William Stevens Esq.r of Somersett County Collector in those parts especially appoynted since the death of M.r Christopher Rousby to secure his Majestys Imposicons and duetys there Henry Darnall & WIlliam Diggs (Esq.rs |
