247 (237 Rents charges Rents Arreares of rents or other Incumbrances by him the said William had made made Suffered or done Yeilding and paying to him the said William his heires and Assignes yearly and every yeare at the feast of the Nativity of our Lord the fully & Just Quantity of Foure Busshells of Sheld Indian Corne if Lawfully Demanded Upon the aforegranted premisses and the said William Guither and Christina Barbera his wife Doth for themselves their heires Executo.rs and Administrators Covenant promise and Grant to and with the said Thomas Griffin his heires and Assignes That they the said William and Christina Barbera the aforementioned Tenement Land and premisses with their appurtenances and every part and parcell thereof to him the said Thomas Griffin his heires and assignes shall and will for ever warrant and defend against the said William and Christina Barbera and their heires and against all and every person and persons whatsoever Clayming by from or under them or either or any of them In witnesse whereof the partÿes to these p.rsent Indentures have Interchangeably sett their hands and seales the day and yeare first above written William Guither (sealed) Sealed signed and delivered in the presence of Us Christina Barbera Guither (sealed) Thomas Burford Wm Cocks On the back side of y.e aforegoing Deed was thus written Memorandum that the fourth day of May in the seaventh yeare of the Dominion of Charles absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c Annoq Dom 1682 Came before Us William Calvert and Vincent Lowe Esq.r two of his Lopps Justices of the Provinciall Court William Guither and Christina Barbera his wife the partyes to the within written Indentures in their prop psons and the said Christina Barbera being by us alone and secretly Examined according to the forme of a certaine Act of Assembly in that case made and provided Did acknowledge the Land in the within written Indentures mentioned to be the right of him the within named Thomas Griffin as those wch the said Thomas hath of the Guift of them the said William and Christina Barbera And the said William and Christina Barbera from them and their heires and the heires of the said Christina Barbera have remised and Quitt Claymed the premisses within mentioned to the said Thomas Griffin and his heires for ever and further they the said William and Christina Barbera have granted for them & their heires of the said Christina Barbera that the Lands and premisses within mentioned unto him the said Thomas Griffin and his heires against them the said William and Christina Barbera and their heires and every the heires of the said Christina Barbera they will warrant and Defend for Ever William Calvert Vincent Lowe June the 30.th 1682 Came Thomas Beale of S.t Maryes County planter and desired the marke of his Cattle and hoggs to be Recorded wch is as followeth The Left Eare Cropt and two Slitts in its right downe the Eare, and a Little bitt taken out at the Root of right Eare under the Eeare February the 9.th 1681 Came Thomas Metford of S.t Maryes County and Desired that the marke of his Cattle and hoggs might be Recorded w.ch is as followeth viz Each Eare Cropt and a hole in Each eare John Parsons of S.t Maryes County demands Entry of the Eare marke of his Cattle & hoggs &c wch is as followeth viz The Right Eare slitt right Downe the width of the Eare and the Left Eare Overkeeled |
