225 (215 Harrison who lived there claimed our halfe part of them the same marke the other hoggs and Cattle are of menconed in this schedule & three old Tinn Panns Debts due accum By Thomas Coates which John Clarke the Executor is to pay for the building ℓℓ Tob of a houses for the said Coates in his life time by the Informacon of John 1100 Boyce Eleaven hundred pounds of tobacco By Country pay Three thousand Two hundred pounds of tobacco 3200 Wm Chandler sher September 23.d Richard Hartropp of S.t Marys County desired that the marke of his hoggs & Cattle might 1681 be Recorded within is as follow viz.t A Cropp and a hole in each eare February 8.th William Farrant of S.t Marys County desired that the marke of his hoggs and Catle 1681 might be Recorded which is as follow viz.t A Flower de Luce an Upper keele and under keele on both Eares February 24.th Sarah Thompson of S.t Marys County widdow desired that the marke of her hoggs & Cattle might be Recorded being the marke of her husbands (John Thompson late deced) his hogs and Cattle w.ch is as follow The Right Eare Cropt and Underkeeld w.th a hole The left Eare Cropt Two slitts and take the peece Square out This Indenture made the Twenty Seaventh day of July in the Fifth yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore &c over Maryland Annoq.r Dom One thousand six hundred and Eighty Between Isaac Foxcroft of the Collony of Virginia gent and Bridgett his wife of the One part and Ninian Beale of Calvert County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the other part Witnesseth That the said Isaac Foxcroft and Bridgett his wife for and in Consideracon of the Sume of quantity Twelve thousand pounds of tobacco to him in hand paid att and before the ensealing and delivery of these p.rsents the Receipt whereof they the said Isaac Foxcroft and Bridgett his wife Doe hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof Doe clearly acquitt Exonerate and discharge the said Ninian Beale his heires Executo.rs Administrato.rs and Assignes and every of them by these p.rsents Have given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these p.rsents for themselves their heires Executo.rs Administrato.rs & Assignes Doe clearly and absolutely Give grant bargaine sell Alien enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said Ninian Beale his heires and Assignes for Ever All that parcell of land called Mount pleasant scituate lyeing and being in Calvert County on the west side of Patuxen River in the foot of the said River in the Northern branch begining att a marked Oake standing by the River Side and bounding on the south by a line drawne west Three hundred and Twenty perches to a marked Oake bounding on the West by a line drawne North and by East Two hundred perches bounded on the North by a line drawne East three hundred and twenty perches to a marked Pohicory by the River Side on the east by the said River to the first marked Oake Containing by Estimacon four hundred Acres of land which said land was surveyed in John Potts his name deced And alsoe One other parcell of land called Letchworth lyeing |
