       p.rsents and Itt is the true Intent and Meaning thereof That I the said William Holmes his
       heires Executo.rs or Adm.rs shall make default in payment of the before mentioned sume
       of Eight thousand Pounds of Tobacco to the said Robert Carvile his Executo.rs Adm.rs or
       assignes att the seaverall and respective dayes of payment herein specified in part or in
       all That then this present Indenture of bargaine and sale & all and every Covenant
       Article Clawse and agreement herein specified mentioned and Contained shall Cease
       Determine be voyd and of none effect Any thing in these p.rsents contained to the Contrary
       thereof in any wise notwithstanding In witnesse whereof the said Robert
       Carvile hath hereunto set the hand and seale the day and yeare first above written

       Ordained Constituted appointed and by these presents Doe make Ordaine Constitute & appoint
       Sam.ll Lane of Ann Arrund.ll County and Frances Maldyn of the Clifts Plant.r our true
       & Lawfull Attorney for Us and in our name & names & for our ^use &^ uses to Aske Demand and
       Recover of all and Every person and psons whatsoever that stands indebted to Us or any of
       Us Either Joyntly or seaverally by bill bond Legacies booke or accounts or any other wayes
       whatsoever & more specially our concernes that are or may be in the hands of any Adm.rs
       whatsoever of the estate of William Parker late of the Cliffts Casually deceased and upon
       Nonpayment refuseall of delivery thereof the said Debtors or Adm.rs for Us and in our names
       Either Joyntly or seaverally To sue arrest Imprisson and implead & upon payment or Receipt
       thereof the said Debto.rs or Adm.rs to discharge and acquittance to make and give for the same
       or any part thereof Also If occasion require Attorney or Attorneys one or more to make
       & revoake at pleasure Fynally rattifyeing & Confirmeing all and whatsoever Our said
       Attorneys shall Lawfully doe or Cause to be done in or about the premisses by vertue of the
       p.rsents In witnesse whereof wee have hereunto sett our hands & seales the Eighteenth day of Octob.r 1680
