205) 214 in hand paid by Robert Carvile of St Maryes County gentl Have bargained sold Assigned and sett over and by these presents doe bargaine sell assigne & sett over unto the said Robert Carvile his Executo.rs Administrators & assignes Aswell the said Judgment & all and Every sume and Sumes of Money & Tobacco therein mentioned and Contained as also all benifitt & advantage wch shall or may be had obtained or gotten by reason or Meanes of the said Judgments or any processe or Execucons thereupon to be had sued out or Executed To have & to hold the said Judgments sume and sumes of Money and Tobacco benifitt and advantage & other the premisses aforesaid unto the said Robert Carvile his Executo.rs Adm.rs & assignes To his and their owne prop use and behoofe in as ample manner as hee the said Matthew Ward or I the said Mary my Ex.rs Adm.rs or assignes might or could have and enjoy the same if these p.rsents never had beene had or made And I the said Mary Ward shall and will Justify maintaine and avowe all and Every lawfull Act and thing that shall be Done in and about the premisses without releaseing or Dischargeing the same soe as there be noe further benifitt taken then onely the due debt interest and Charges and that all the benifitt that shall be obtained or gotten Upon the said Judgmts shall wholly remaine and be unto the said Robert Carvile his Executo.rs Administrators or Assignes to his and their owne prop uses and behoofes without any accompt or other thing to be Yeilded or done to the said Mary Ward her Execut.rs Adm.rs or assignes or any of them In Testimony whereof I the said Mary Ward have hereunto sett my hand and seale the Fifth day of October in the yeare of our Lord One thousand six hundred seaventy and Eight Sealed signed and delivered in the p.rsence of Mary Ward (sealed) William Tilghman, John Bell On the back side of the foregoeing Assignment was thus written Viz By vertue of the within menconed Assignm.t of the Judgm.t within menconed to me made I Doe hereby Acknowledge to have received of and from Daniel Jenifer gentl within named Full satisfaccon of and for the seaverall Judgments within mentioned & Costs charges & damages Touching and concerning the same and this my acknowledgm.t I desire you to Enter upon the Record of the said Judgments And for your soe doeing this shall be your Warrant As Witness my hand the nine and twentyeth day of August in the yeare of our Lord one Thousand six hundred Eighty one Testis W.m Cocks Rob.t Carvile This Indenture made the twentyeth day of August in the yeare of our Lord One thousand six hundred eighty and one Betweene Robert Carvile of the County of St Maryes gentl of the one part & William Holmes of the same County planter of the other pt Witnesseth that Whereas William Lucas in his life time late husband to Frances now wife to the said William Holmes had agreed to sell and Convey unto Henry Ryder a parcell of Land lyeing and being upon S.t Clares Creeke in S.t Jeromes in the said County Bounded upon the Creekes side north by a marked oake & south by a marked pohiccory being part of the land whereon the said William Lucas then Lived and by him Laid out and bounded in his life time But before a Conveyance of the said Land was executed the said Lucas dyed haveing made his last Will and Testament in writeing & y.e said Frances sole Executrix (and |
