       shall to all effects purposes & Construccons be utterly void frustrate & of none effect
       but if default of paym.t in any of the daies afores.d Contrary to the form declared y.t
       then this present bargain & saile & all & every Covenant grant Article & thing
       herein Conteyned shall to all effects & purposes stand remaine & abide in it
       full force & strength any thing herein before expressed to y.e Contrary thereof

January 17.th Richard Atwood of S.t Maryes County desired that the marke of his Cattle and Hoggs might
       1680      bee Recorded w.ch is as Followeth Viz
                     Cropt and slit in the Right Eare, slitt in the Left Eare and Underkeeled

Aprill 25.th 1681  Abraham Reid of Calvert County Wheelwright desired that the marke of his Cattle and
                      Hoggs might be Recorded w.ch is as Followeth Viz
                      a Hole in the right Eare and a slit in the Left eare


       This Indenture made the Eighteenth day of January in the sixth yeare of the dominion
       of Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord
       Baron of Baltemore &c In the yeare of our Lord god One thousand six hundred and
       Eighty Betweene Robert Wright of Petuxent River in the County of Calvert
       Planter of the one part and Richard Smith Jun.r of the River and County aforesaid
       of the other part Whereas the Right Hono.ble Cæcilius Lord prop.ry of the Province of
       Maryland aforesaid by his Deed of Grant or pattent under the greate seale used in
       the said Province of Maryland for granting of Lands there Dated at St Maryes
       the Twenty sixth day of may in the Foure and Thirtyeth yeare of his Lopps Dominion
       Over the said Province of Maryland Annoq Dom One thousand six hundred sixty
       Five Did for the consideracon therein Mentioned grant unto Ismael Wright his heires &
       Assignes By the Name of Ismael Wright a parcell of Land Called Wrights Choice
       Lyeing on the East side of Chesepeake bay in Transquakeing River in the Westerne
       branch of the said River and on the West side of the said branch Begining at a
       bounded stake standing by the water side & runing Downe the branch for breadth one
       hundred Twenty and five perches south west and by south to a Marked White oake
       standing by a Marsh Runing from the said Oake for Length unto the Woods Two
       hundred and Forty perches, Bounded on the North w.th a Line Drawne Northeast and by
       North from the end of the former Line One hundred twenty five perches Bounded on the East
