185) 194 shillings one penny halfe penny of lawfull money of New England And wee further Award that the said Tobacco and money shall bee in full of all differences and Controvsies to be referred as aforesaid And that the said John Browne on the behalfe of the said Samuell Shrimpton shall accept of the same accordingly And lastly wee doe award that upon payment or lawfull tender made att the state house in S.t Marys of the Tobacco bills and money each of the said partys viz.t the said Charles Lord Baltemore for and on the behalfe of himselfe and the said John Browne as Attorny and for and on the behalfe of the said Samuel Shrimpton shall signe seale & as theire severall Acts and Deeds deliver the one of them to the other or to their severall uses severall releases and discharges of & for all differences and matters of controversie to us referred from the begining of the world untill the day of the date of the said Obligacons And the same soe made signed sealed & delivered shall lease or cause to be delivered and left Att the State house in S.t Marys to be taken by each party when they shall request the same In witness whereof wee the said Arbitrato.rs have caused two parts of this our Award to be made both of one tenor and to both pts thereof have putt our hands and seale the Three and twentyeth day of February In the year of our Lord One thousand six hundred & Eighty Sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Tailler (sealed) Arbitrato.rs as their Award between the ptys W.m Steevens (sealed) in difference the 23.d of February 1680 in the p.rsence of Andrew Abington Tho Grunwin Maryland fs Know all men by these p.rsents That I John Browne of Salem in New England As Attorny and for and by the behalfe of Samuel Shrimpton of Boston in New England Merchant Have remised released and for ever quite claymed and by these p.rsents Doe (according to the Award of Coll Thomas Tailler and Coll William Steevens bearing date the day before the date hereof) Remise release and forever quite clayme unto the Right Hono.ble Charles Lord Baltemore his heirs Executo.rs and Assignes All and all manner of Accons and causes of accons suits debts accompts reckonings differences claymes and demands whatsoever which against the said Charles Lord Baltemore the said Samuell Shrimpton ever had now hath or in time to come can shall or may have for touching or concerning any goods sent and consigned or heretofore p.rtended to be sent and consigned in Copartnership between the said Samuell Shrimpton and James Browne late of this Province deced sonn of me the said John Browne And I the said John Browne doe acknowledge to have [illegible] of the said Charles Lord Baltemore for the use of the said Samuell Shrimpton the sume of Ninety one pounds New England money which I declare to be in full payment of and for what is awarded in money and Tobacco to be payd to me for the use aforesaid by the said Award In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and Seale The Foure and twentyeth day of February 1680 Sealed and delivered by the said John Browne John Browne (sealed) as the Attorny of the said Samuell Shrimpton in the p.rsence of Tho Taÿlor Nicholas Sewall Tho Smithson |
