187 178 James Browne deceased Have Assigned ordained and made and in our stead and place put and Constituted our Hono.rd Father in Law John Browne of Salem aforesaid Maryner to bee our true and Lawfull Attorney for us and in our Names and to our use to aske sue for Leavy require recover and receive of all and every person and persons whatsoever w.thin the Capes of Virginia or Maryland or either of the said [illegible] All and every such Debts [illegible] Dues sume or sumes of Money goods or Marchandize house Land heredittaments Messuages or Tenements as are Now Due unto us or w.ch at any day or dayes time or times hereafter shall bee due owing or of right belonging or appertaining unto unto us by any manner of wayes or meanes whatsoever also to Compound and agree and to Sell allienate Lease or otherwise improve any the said Lands plantacons or estate soe Recovered for our use and advantage as out said Attorney shall Judge best Giveing and granting to our said Attorney by the Teno.r of these presents our full and whole power strength & Authority in and about the premisses & upon the Receipt of any such debts dues sume and sumes of Money goods or other Marchandizes house Land Heraditaments or estate whatsoever or Upon selling Allienateing disposeing of the same or any parts thereof or agreem.ts or Composicons or Contracts whatsoever for the use of us the sayd John Swinnerton and Hannah my wife as Adm.rx aforesaid according as Our said Attorney shall Judge best as aforesaid Acquittances or other discharges Deeds of sale or other Conveyances for us and in our Names to make seale and deliv.r and all & every other act and acts thing and things devise and devices in the Law whatsoever needfull & necessary to bee done in or about the p.rmisses in part or in whole as aforesaid for us and in our Names to doe Execute & pforme as fully Largely and Amploy in Every respect to all intents Confirmacons and purposes as wee our selves might or Could doe if wee were psonally p.rsent Giveing and granting to our said Attorney full power to Ordaine and appointe one or more Attorney or Attorneys under him and him or them againe to Revoake at his pleasure Rattifying alloweing and holding firme and stable All & whatsoever our said Attorney or Attorneys und.r him shall Lawfully doe or Cause to bee done in or about the Execution of the same by vertue of these p.rsents In Witnesse Whereof wee the said John Swinnerton & & Hannah Swinnerton as Administratrix aforesaid have set to our hands and seales the sixth day of November in the Yeare of our Lord One Thousand six hundred and Eighty Annoq Regni Regio Coroli Secdi Angliæ &c.a XXXŸ Signed sealed & deliv.rd in y.e p.rsence of us Jn.o Swinerton (sealed) Ne.a Willoughby Deliverance Parkman Hannah Swinerton (sealed) John Ruck Underneath the aforegoing L.re of Attorney was Written as Followeth The said John Swinnerton & Hannah his wife signed sealed and delivered the above Instrument as their Act and ded this Twelvth of November 1680 Before mee Hilliard Veren Record.r in Salem for the County of Essex in the Collony of Massathusets Proved this 14.th Decemb.r 1680 by the oathes of Deliverance Parkman & Jn.o Ruck Two of the witnesses to the same Before me Philip Calvert |
