147 (138 And the plantiffe Amos Parsons maketh oath before the Court this Twelfth day of March Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred seaventy seaven that hee was in M.r Nelsons service the time of Comeing over the bay And the Defendant William Planner in hs owne person cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &c and sayth that M.r Nelson hath over paid him produceing these following accounts Viz May y.e 7.th 1677 Amos Parsons D.r
September y.e 28.th 1677 Then came Matthew Nelson Merchant and made Oath before us that the within menconed or written accompt amounting to two thousand thirty Eight pounds of Tobacco were delivered unto Amos Parsons and that these are the prices w.thin mentioned Sworne before us the day & yeare above Written) Geo Johnson & W.m Colebourne September 77 Amos Parsons D.r
William Planner maketh oath in Court this 12.th March 1677 that hee delivered them goods of Matthew Nelsons Amounting to seaventy pounds of Tobacco to Amos Parsons Thomas Tull appeared on y.e behalfe of the plantiffe and was examined upon Oath but not taken in Writeing This Court findes that there is due from matthew Nelson to the plantiffe for the first service Twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco and for Eighty one Workeing dayes afterwards One thousand Two hundred and Fifteen pounds of Tobacco in all Two thousand foure hundred & fifteen pounds of Tobacco whereof paid Two thousand one hundred and Eight pounds of Tobacco Remaines due to the plant three hundred and seaven pounds of Tobacco and thereupon ordered that William Planner Attorney to Matthew Nelson pay unto the plant Amos Parsons or his order three hundred and seaven pounds of Tobacco Forthwith & Costs of suite alias Execucon W.m Colebourne sealed Geo Johnson sealed Fran Jenkins sealed David Browne sealed |
