Maryland fs       Memorandum That on the Twentieth day of march in the yeare of
                         Our Lord One thousand six hundred seaventy eight came William
                         Planner by Christopher Rousby his Attorney before the Hono.ble Phillip
                         Calvert Esqr Chancellour of this Province of Maryland And prayed
                         his Lordshipps Writt of Erro.r to him the said William to bee grannted
                         To his Lordshipps Justices of the County Court of Somersett County
                         to bee directed to require them to send before his Lordshipps Justices
                         of the Provinciall Court The Record proceedings and Judgment of the
                         said County Court in a Certaine Cause there late depending Between one
                         Amos Parsons plantiffe and the said William Planner Defendant
                         in an Accon of trespas upon the Case and itt is Grannted unto him
                         the teno.r whereof followeth in these words (Viz)

       Charles absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of
       Baltemore &c To our Comissioners of Somersett County greeting Because in the Record and proces
       as also in the Rendring of Judgment before you in our said Court against William Planner att
       the suite of Amos Parsons manifest Error hath happened to the greate dammage of the said
       William Planner as by the greate Complaint of the said William Wee have Received The willing
       that the Errors (if any bee) should in due manner bee corrected and full and speedy Justice to bee
       done to the said parties in this behalfe doe comand you that the Record and proces of the said
       Judgment w.th all things touching the same before our Justices of our Provinciall Court
       to bee held att our Citty of Saint Maries the third day of June next under your hands and
       seales distinctly and openly you send That Inspeccon being had of the Record & pceedings
       therein Wee may Cause further to bee done what of right and according to y.e Lawes &
       Constitucons of this province ought to bee done therein and that you have there this writt
       Witnesse our selfe att our Citty of Saint Maryes the twentyeth day of March in the
       fourth yeare of our Dominion &c.a Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred seaventy
       Eight
                   And att the same time his Lordshipps writt of scire facias was Issued to the said
                   Amos Parsons in these words following Viz

       Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of
       Baltemore &c to our Sheriffe of our County of Somersett Greeting Because in the Record & proces as also
       in the Rendring of Judgm.t before our Comissioners of our said County Court against William Planner
       att the suite of Amos Parsons Manifest Erro.r hath happened to the grevous dammage of y.e said William
       as out of his Complaint Wee have accepted The Record and proces of w.ch said Judgment before our
       Justices of our Provinicall Court to bee held att our Citty of Saint Maryes the third day of June
       next Wee have Caused to bee sent and wee being willing the Errors if any bee) should in due manner
       bee Corrected and full and speedy Justice to bee done to the said parties Wee comand you that by Lawfull
       and honest men of of your Baliwick you make knowne to the said Amos Parsons that hee bee before
       our Justices of our Provinciall Court att the day and place aforesaid to hear the Record aforesaid If
       to him it shall seeme Expedient and further to stand to and abide what our said Court shall Consider of
       in that behalfe and that you from further takeing molesting and impressoning or him the said William
       Planner by that occasion any waies molesting you altogether supseed and if him the said William Planner
       for that occasion and noe other you have taken him w.thout delay you sett att Large And have yo.u there this
       writt Witnesse our selfe att our Citty of Saint Maries the twentieth day of March in the fourth yeare
       of our Dominion &c Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred seaventy Eight

                   Att w.ch said third day of June the said sheriffe of Somersett County made retourne of the said
                   writt of scire facias in these words Viz By Thomas Williams and Samuell Handy good and
                   Lawfull men of my Baliwick I have made knowne to the w.thin named Amos Parsons Tho Walker sheriffe
