BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,
Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages
Section 68(h)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 68(h) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages
68.
(h) In Worcester County, [and] Wicomico County AND
DORCHESTER COUNTY, notwithstanding any other provision of
Article 2B, any corporation or club holding any class of
alcoholic beverage license may, during any license year,
substitute the name of one of its officers for the name
of any other officer on the license when the deleted
officer has died, retired, been removed from office, or
no longer holds an office in [said] THE corporation or
club IF THE SUBSTITUTE IS A FIT PERSON APPROVED BY THE
BOARD. [Said] THE corporation or club shall file an
affidavit with the board of license commissioners showing
the substitution of [said] THE officer or officers with
an explanation of [said] THE substitution. Upon receipt
of [said] THE affidavit the board shall amend its records
and issue a new license with the corrected names
[thereon] ON IT. [Said] THE corporation or club shall
pay a fee of [five dollars ($5.00)] $5 to the board of
license commissioners for [such] THIS service. In
Wicomico County, an application for renewal of a
restaurant license is subject to requirements specified
in § 19 (L—1), as amended from time to time.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
