SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 8-106(a-14) and 9-202(c)(6) of
Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings

8-106.

(a-14) Garrett County - [$10; 10] $15; 12 cents
mileage allowance, no overtime.

9-202.

(c) (6) Garrett County — a witness is allowed
[6.25] 12 cents per mile for each mile over three he
resides from the court. [This amount is allowed only
once in one term.] A WITNESS ATTENDING COURT IS ALLOWED
$5 FOR EACH DAY IN ATTENDANCE PLUS ITINERANT CHARGES
ALLOWABLE TO WITNESSES FROM OTHER PRINCIPAL COUNTY.
SUBDIVISIONS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County — Workmen's Compensation
for Volunteer Firemen and Members of Rescue Squads

FOR the purpose of including Volunteer Firemen and
members of rescue squads in Queen Anne's County with
those counties which consider Volunteer Firemen to
be workmen for wages and engaged in extra—hazardous
employment for the purpose of determining Workmen's
Compensation.
