elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its

AN ACT concerning

Election Code — Registration of Voters

FOR the purpose of providing that certain registration
procedures which must be followed at the time of
registration do not apply in cases of registration
by mail; and renumbering as appropriate.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That new Section 3—13[[(c)]] (a) be and it is

hereby added to Article 33 — Election Code, of the

Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and

1974 Supplement) to read as follows:
