three (3) members in Housing, Employment, Law
Enforcement, Education and/or other areas as it deems
necessary, operating under such rules as the Commission
shall devise. Pursuant to said rules of the Commission,
the Chairman may also designate special sub—committees or
may direct the staff to make studies, inquiries, or
investigations into particular matters which are within
the jurisdiction of the Commission.
SECTION 6. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that Section 10-21
of the Prince George's County Code of Ordinances and
Resolutions, 1967 edition, as amended, dealing with the
Landlord and Tenant Commission, is hereby repealed and
reenacted with the following amendments:
10—21 Compensation and Meetings
The Commissioners shall meet at least once a month
and at such other times as the Commissioners shall deem
necessary. Four (4) members shall constitute a quorum at
any meeting. Each member shall be compensated [at the
rate of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each meeting or other
working period of four (4) or more hours in duration, not
to exceed Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) in any month.]
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF A CATEGORY 2 BOARD
AS PROVIDED IN CHAPTER 3A.
SECTION 7. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that CB-16-1971
dealing with the Personnel Board is hereby repealed and
reenacted with the following amendments;
[individual m] Members of the Personnel Board [,
including the Chairman thereof,] shall [receive
compensation at the rate of $50.00 per day or portion
thereof of service, not to exceed $4,000 per annum; and
provided further that such daily rate shall not be
enlarged owing to a continuation of initial sessions or
meeting, or otherwise.] BE COMPENSATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE PROVISIONS OF A CATEGORY 1 BOARD AS PROVIDED IN
CHAPTER 3A.
SECTION 8. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that Section 2-65
of the Prince George's County Code of Ordinances and
Resolutions, 1967 edition as amended, being CB-77—1972,
dealing with the Board of Registration, is hereby
repealed and reenacted with the following amendments:
Section 2—65. Board of Registration
A board of registration for building contractors is
hereby created. The board shall consist of five members,
all of whom shall be appointed by the County Executive
subject to Council confirmation pursuant to the Charter.
