AN ACT to repeal and re—enact with amendments
Section 33-4, title "Salaries of Chairman and Members of
Personnel Board", of Chapter 33, title "Personnel",
Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, to increase the
annual salary of the Chairman of the County Personnel
Board to $5,800 and to increase the annual salary of the
members of the Personnel Board to $5,000,

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR MONTGOMERY
COUNTY, MARYLAND, that

Sec. 1. Section 33—4, title "Salaries of Chairman
and Members of Personnel Board", of Chapter 33, title
"Personnel", Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, is
hereby repealed and re—enacted with amendments to read as
follows:

33—4. Salaries of Chairman and Members of Personnel
Board.

The Chairman of the County Personnel Board shall
receive an annual salary of Five Thousand Eight Hundred
dollars.

The other two members of the Personnel Board shall
receive an annual salary of Five Thousand dollars.

Section 2. Effective date.

The Council hereby declares that an emergency exists
and that this Act shall take effect on the date on which
it becomes law, in order that pending appointments to the
Personnel Board shall be subject to this legislation.
