BOOK PROVIDED AND KEPT FOR THAT PURPOSE IN THE OFFICE OF
FINANCE OF THE COUNTY, AND SO NOTICE OF SAME SHALL BE
NECESSARY IN SUCH CASES TO THE OWNER, AND THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE SHALL PROCEED TO ADD A ONE-FIFTEENTH (1/15)
INSTALLMENT, INCLUDING INTEREST, TO THE TAX BILLS. AND
COLLECT THE SAME, AS HEREINABOVE DIRECTED.
(C) All cesspools, septic tanks and dry wells
located on properties connected with sewers provided by
the county shall be abandoned, closed, BACK FILLED and
left in a sanitary condition so that no odor nor-nuisance
shall arise therefrom, and all wells and other sources of
water supplying the property which shall have a water
connection to water mains provided by the County shall
immediately be disconnected from the Public Water Supply
System.
(D) Any violations of the provisions of this
Section shall be a misdemeanor punishable upon Section
18.121 of this subtitle.
Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED BY THE COUNTY
COUNCIL OF HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND, that this Act shall
take effect sixty (60) days after its enactment.

AN ACT to repeal and re—enact with amendments Section
1.119, "Overtime and Compensatory Time," of Title 1,
"Administration" of the Howard County Code, to
provide a procedure for qualification of
compensatory time and for payment in lieu of
compensatory time in departmental emergency.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND that Section 1.119 of the Howard
County Code, Title 1, "Administration," be and is hereby
repealed and re—enacted to read as follows:
Section 1.119 — Overtime and Compensatory Time
A. All hourly employees who work in excess of a
normal forty (40) hour week shall be compensated at a
rate of time and one—half for all hours in excess of
forty (40). All classified employees not paid on an
hourly basis, except department head and supervisors as
defined in their various job descriptions, shall be
entitled to compensatory time for work performed in
