HOWARD COUNTY

WHEREAS, a petition was submitted to the Director of
Public Works by the owner to incorporate certain parcel
of land into the Metropolitan District.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND that Section 18.124(bb) be and is
hereby added to Title 18 of the Howard County Code, title
"Public Works," subtitle "Public Utilities," to read as
follows:

1. THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED AND REFERRED TO PARCEL
OF LAND SHALL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE METROPOLITAN
DISTRICT OF HOWARD COUNTY AS OF JUNE 1, 1974.

(A) PROPERTY OWNED BY JOHN W. METZLER AND
LOCATED ON OWEN BROWN ROAD AND FURTHER DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED BY THE COUNTY
COUNCIL OF HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND, that this Act shall
take effect sixty (60) days after enactment.

Council Bill No. 38

AN ACT to amend Section 18.104, "Water and Sewer
Connections," of Title 18, "Public Works," to
provide a procedure upon failure of a property owner
to comply with Health Department notice to abate a
nuisance as to individual water and sewer systems;
to provide for assessment of costs when the County
performs the work; to provide that such owner shall
have the right to select the person to make the
connection; and to provide a procedure when the
owner does not comply with the conditions for
selecting a person to make the connections.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND, that Section 18.104, "Water and
Sewer Connections," of Title 18, "Public Works," of the
Howard County Code be and is hereby amended to read as
follows:
