references to "intangibles" and "real estate"
in present §20(b) are deleted from this
definition and, for purposes of greater
clarity and emphasis, are coupled with the
word "merchandise" in the appropriate
substantive sections of the title. See, e.g.,
§13-304.

"MERCHANT" MEANS A PERSON WHO DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY
EITHER OFFERS OR MAKES AVAILABLE TO CONSUMERS ANY
CONSUMER GOODS, CONSUMER SERVICES, OR CONSUMER CREDIT.
