SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Ordinance shall take effect forty—five (45) days from the
date it becomes law.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal Section 12-1108(a) of the
Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements),
Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and Franchises", Subtitle
11, "Plumbing, Article II, "Permits and Installations",
and to enact new Section 12—1108(a) in lieu thereof, to
stand in the place of the section so repealed, to revise
the fee schedule for certain plumbing permits, and
matters generally related thereto.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 12-1108(a) of
the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and
Franchises", Subtitle 11, "Plumbing", Article II,
"Permits and Installations", be and it is hereby
repealed, and new Section 12—1108(a) be, and it is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the
section so repealed, and to read as follows:

SECTION 12-1108

(A) PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF ANY PERMIT, THE
APPLICANT THEREFOR SHALL PAY TO THE COUNTY THE FOLLOWING

FEES:

(1)    PERMIT FOR NEW INSTALLATION:

(I)    FIRST FIXTURE..............$      5.00

(II)   EACH ADDITIONAL FIXTURE.....      1.50

(III)  SEPTIC TANK ONLY............      5.00

(IV)   DRAINFIELD OR DRYWELL ONLY..      5.00

(V)    COMPLETE SEWERAGE SYSTEM....    10.00
