COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

County Code (1967 Edition and Supplement), Title 1,
"Administration", subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article II,
"Classified Service"; to add new Sections 1—217 (12A),
(16A), (19A), (75A), (196A), (226A) , (285A) and (350A) to
said Code, Title, Subtitle and Article, to follow
immediately after Sections 1-217 (12), (16), (19), (75),
(196), (226), (285) and (350) thereof; to repeal Sections
1-217 (62), (73), (148), (149) and (188) of said Code,
Title, Subtitle and Article, and to enact new Sections
1-217 (62), (73), (148), (149) and (188) in lieu thereof,
to stand in the place of the sections so repealed, to
create the new positions and pay grades of Relocation
Agent, Programmer Analyst, Principal Zoning Analyst,
Quality and Control Division Chief, Systems Programming
Manager, Executive Secretary — Elder Affairs, Principal
Plant Operator and Mosquito Control Technician, to
establish the minimum qualifications for said positions;
and to make certain changes to the minimum qualifications
for the positions of Fire Captain, Fire Division Chief,
Firefighter II, Firefighter III, and Fire Lieutenant; and
matters generally related thereto.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 1-215 (a) and
(b) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service", be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

Section 1-215

(a) Unless otherwise applicable by the remaining
subsections of this section, the below listed class title
and salary grades shall apply to all classified
employees:
