ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY
6, "Crimes and Misdemeanors", Subtitle 1, "Generally",
and to enact new Section 6—100 in lieu thereof, to stand
in the place of the section repealed, to permit the sale
and consumption of beer or light wine at the London Town
Publik House or its grounds.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 6-100 of the
Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements),
Title 6, "Crimes and Misdemeanors", Subtitle 1,
"Generally", be, and it is hereby repealed, and that new
Section 6—100 be, and it is hereby enacted in lieu
thereof, to stand in the place of the section repealed,
to read as follows:
SECTION 6-100.
(A) EXCEPT AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH, THE SALE OR
CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IS PROHIBITED UPON THE
COURTHOUSE PREMISES AND ANY OTHER PROPERTY OWNED OR
UTILIZED BY ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. SAID PROHIBITION SHALL
NOT APPLY TO:
(1) FIRE DEPARTMENT PREMISES WHEN USED FOR
SOCIAL OR FUND RAISING EVENTS.
(2) THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF BEER ON THE
DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER GOLF COURSE.
(3) THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF BEER OR
LIGHT WINE AT THE LONDON TOWN PUBLIK HOUSE OR ITS
GROUNDS.
(B) ANYONE VIOLATING ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SECTION SHALL BE SUBJECT TO SUSPENSION OR REMOVAL FROM
THEIR EMPLOYMENT WITH THE COUNTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Ordinance shall take effect forty—five (45) days from the
date it becomes law.
