MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
that Sub-section (b) 2 of Section 68-13 of the Code of
Public Laws of Prince George's County, Maryland, (1968
Edition), titled "Seat Pleasant", subtitled "Treasurer",
and further subtitled "Powers and Duties", said
Sub—section also being Sub-section (b) 2 of Section 68—11
of the Charter of the Town of Seat Pleasant, Maryland, be
and is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the
place and stead of the sub—section so repealed, and to
read as follows:
§ 68-11 (b) 2.
Supervise and be responsible for the disbursement of
all moneys and have control over all expenditures,
SUBJECT TO THE CONSENT AND APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR, to
assure that budget appropriations are not exceeded.
Pursuant to Article XI—E of the Constitution of
Maryland and Article 23A of the Code of General Public
Laws of Maryland, the Mayor and Common Council of the
Town of Seat Pleasant hereby give notice of the Council's
intention to consider at the Public Council Meeting at
Town Hall, 54 Addison Road, Seat Pleasant, Maryland, on
August 19, 1974, beginning at 8:00 P.M., the repeal and
re—enactment of Sub-section (b) 2 of Section 68—11 of the
Charter of the Town of Seat Pleasant (Subject Matter —
Powers and Duties of Treasurer), such re—enactment to
contain the same substantial provisions as the current
Sub—section with the exception that all disbursements and
expenditures made by the Treasurer are subject to the
consent and approval of the Mayor.

TO AMEND THE TOWN CHARTER
Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Sharpsburg,
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11—E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23—A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957 Edition), title
"Corporations—Municipal", subtitle "Home Rule",
subheading "Charter Amendments", to amend Section 29—4 of
the Charter of the Mayor and Council of Sharpsburg as set
forth in Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Washington County (1957 Edition), said Section was
enacted by Chapter 294 of the Laws of Maryland (1941) as
