The fee for any business begun after the first
quarter of the license year shall be prorated on a
quarterly basis for the number of quarters remaining in
the year. An additional penalty of $5.00 shall be added
to the fee for any required license not obtained by July
1st in any year.

42—4. Who must obtain license

The resident owner, or in the case of non-resident
ownership, the manager, superintendent or person actually
carrying on the business, shall be responsible for
obtaining the license herein required.

ARTICLE II
Alcoholic Beverages

42—5. License required

It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firm
or corporation to engage in the sale of any alcoholic
beverages within the corporate limits of the Town of
Riverdale without first obtaining a license from the
Town. Such licenses shall run from July 1 to June 30 of
the following year. The fee for an entire year shall be
as follows:

1.     "Off Sale" beer.........................$25.00

2.     "Off Sale" beer and light wines..........30.00

3.     "Off Sale" beer, wine, liquor............75.00

4.     "On-Off Sale" beer and light wines.........50.00

5.     "On-Off Sale" beer, wine, liquor......... 75.00

42—6.                Application

All applications for license, along with the
appropriate fee, shall be filed with the Clerk—Treasurer
of the Town of Riverdale. No license shall be issued
until the prescribed fee is paid.
