MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
Windsor adopted pursuant to the authority of Article
11E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition, as amended and replaced), title
"Corporations — Municipal", subtitle "Home Rule", to
amend the municipal charter of The Town of New
Windsor by repealing Sections 311 and 312 and
repealing and re—enacting, with amendments. Sections
313 and 314 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Carroll County (1965 Edition), to correct and
clarify certain provisions of the municipal charter
by deleting certain obsolete material contained
therein, by restating and re—affirming the
designation of the corporate name and boundaries of
the Town, and generally relating to the correction,
clarification and re-affirmation of the certain
portions of the Town Charter.
Section 1. BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council
of The Town of Hew Windsor that the Charter of The Town
of Nee Windsor, a municipal corporation of the State of
Maryland, be and the same is hereby amended by repealing
Sections 311 and 312 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Carroll County (1965 Edition).

This Article may be cited as "The Municipal
Corporations Charter Act." It may be adopted and
continued as the corporate charter of any municipal
corporation in this State coming within the provisions of
Article 11E of the Constitution of Maryland, and of the
supporting statutory legislation. The use of the terms
"town," "city," "municipality," or "municipal
corporation" in this Article shall be construed as
synonymous and any of said terms shall apply to the
municipal corporation adopting and using this charter
pursuant to the provisions of Article 11E of the
Constitution and of the supporting statutory
legislation.]

(a) Order. The editor or editors of every edition
of the Annotated Code of Maryland and of every periodic
supplement thereof shall at the time of publication
ascertain what municipal corporations in the State of
Maryland, if any, have adopted and are then using the
provisions of this Article as a corporate charter.
Having ascertained these facts, the editor or editors
shall then include hereinbelow in this section a proper
reference showing the names of each such municipal
corporation. The names shall be arranged in alphabetical
order within the particular counties and shall be so
