Section 3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as scon as the
Charter amendment hereby enacted shall become effective,
either as herein provided or following a referendum, the
City Manager shall send separately, by registered mail to
the Secretary of the State of Maryland, to the Department
of Legislative Reference, the following information
concerning the Charter amendment; (1) the complete text
of this Resolution; (2) the date of the referendum
election, if any, held with respect thereto; (3) the
number of votes cast for and against the question
contained in the Charter amendment, whether by the
Council of the City of Greenbelt or in a referendum; and
(4) the effective date of the Charter amendment;
Section 4 AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City
Manager of the City of Greenbelt be, and he is
specifically enjoined and instructed to carry out the
provisions of Section 2 and 3 as evidence of compliance
herewith, the said City Manager shall cause to be affixed
to the minutes of this meeting (1) an appropriate
certificate of publication of the newspaper in which the
title of this Resolution shall have been published; and
(2) return receipts of the mailing referred to in Section
3, and shall further complete and execute the Certificate
of Effect attached hereto.

CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 1
"New Voter Qualifications"
A resolution of the Mayor and Council of The Town of
Hampstead, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article 11-E of the Constitution of the State of
Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23—A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend the
Charter of The Town of Hampstead, this amendment to be
entitled "New Voter Qualifications," such being the first
amendment to that Charter, by repealing and re—enacting
