Said proposed annexation being more particularly
shown on a plat entitled, "TOWN OF EASTON, MARYLAND,
PROPOSED ANNEXATION 1974 'POPLAR HILL' PROPERTY AND
ADJACENT PROPERTIES, Revised February 26, 1974".

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the properties for
which annexation is proposed shall be granted an
exemption from real property taxes imposed by the Town of
Easton until such time as Town water and sewer services
shall be made available to each such property. From such
time only that property for which town water and sewer
services have been made available shall be subject to
real property taxes imposed by the Town of Easton.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a public hearing be
held by this Body with respect to said proposed
annexation, such hearing to be held in the offices of the
Mayor and Council of the Town of Easton on November 18,
1974 at 8 P.M. provided that public notice of such
hearing shall first be given pursuant to the provisions
of Section 19(d) of said Article 23A; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That in the event this
Resolution shall be finally enacted following said public
hearing, then this Resolution and the annexation hereby
proposed shall become fully effective forty—five days
following such final enactment, unless sufficient
petitions for referendum have been filed prior thereto.

eighteenth day of November, A.D., 1974.
