MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

BE PAID TO THE TRUSTEE UNDER ANY TRUST AGREEMENT SECURING
SUCH BONDS AND SHALL BE DISBURSED IN SUCH MANNER AND
UNDER SUCH RESTRICTIONS, IF ANY, AS MAY BE PROVIDED IN
SUCH TRUST AGREEMENT.

(I) ANY HOLDER OF BONDS ISSUED UNDER THIS SECTION
OR OF ANY COUPONS THERETO APPERTAINING, AND THE TRUSTEE,
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT THE FIGHTS HEREIN GIVEN MAY BE
RESTRICTED BY THE TRUST AGREEMENT, MAY, EITHER AT LAW OR
IN EQUITY, BY SUIT, ACTION, MANDAMUS OR OTHER
PROCEEDINGS, PROTECT AND ENFORCE ANY AND ALL RIGHTS UNDER
THE LANS OF THIS STATE OR GRANTED HEREUNDER OR UNDER THE
TRUST AGREEMENT OR THE RESOLUTION OR ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SUCH BONDS, AND MAY ENFORCE
AND COMPEL THE PERFORMANCE OF ALL DUTIES REQUIRED BY THIS
SECTION OR BY THE TRUST AGREEMENT TO BE PERFORMED BY THE
TOWN OR BY ANY OFFICER THEREOF, INCLUDING THE FIXING,
CHARGING AND COLLECTING OF RENTALS, RATES, FEES, TOLLS
AND OTHER CHARGES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the
date of adoption of this Resolution is June 17, 1974, and
the amendment of the Charter of the Town of Easton hereby
enacted shall become effective on August 6, 1974 unless a
proper petition for a referendum hereon shall be filed as
permitted by law, provided a complete and exact copy of
this Resolution shall be continuously posted on the
bulletin board of the Town Hall until the expiration of
forty (40) days after the date of adoption hereof and
provided further that a copy of the title of this
Resolution shall be published in one or more newspapers
of general circulation in the Town of Easton not less
than four (4) times, at weekly intervals, within a period
of forty (40) days after the adoption hereof.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the
Mayor of Easton is hereby specifically enjoined to carry
out the provisions of Section 2 hereof and, as evidence
of said compliance, the Mayor of Easton shall cause to be
affixed to the minutes of this meeting appropriate
Certificates of Publication of the newspaper or
newspapers in which the title of this Resolution shall
have been published and shall declare the Charter
Amendment hereby enacted to be effective by affixing his
signature hereto in the space provided on the effective
date thereof.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that as soon
as the Charter Amendment enacted shall become effective,
either as herein provided or following referendum, the
Mayor of Easton shall send separately by registered mail,
to the Secretary of the State of Maryland and the State
Department of Legislative Reference, a clear certified
copy of the complete text of this Resolution and the
