the aforementioned stream and the town boundary of the
Town of Denton; thence leaving said point and binding on
the aforesaid stream and the town boundary line in a
southeastern direction to the place of beginning, as
surveyed by J.R. McCrone, Jr., Inc. Registered Engineers
and Land Surveyors in October 1970.

The conditions and circumstances applicable to said
annexation proposal are as follows: (1) That all persons
residing in the area to be annexed, and their property,
shall be added to the corporate boundaries, generally
subject to the provisions of the charter of the
Commissioners of Denton, a municipal corporation.

FINAL ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION OF ANNEXATION OF
SEVERAL ADDITIONS TO DENTON

WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Denton proposed a
Resolution providing for the annexation of several
additions into the Town of Denton on November 5, 1973,
and after causing a public notice thereof to be published
in four consecutive weekly issues of the County Record,
Denton, Maryland, and after holding a public hearing
thereon on December 20, 1973, and complying with all the
prerequisites of Article 23A Section 19(d) and (e),
Annotated Code of Maryland and of legislative enactments.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the
Commissioners of Denton:

Section A. That the corporate boundaries of the
Town of Denton be enlarged by annexation into the Town of
Denton of the following parcels or lots of land which are
contiguous to and adjoining to the existing areas of said
town and described as hereinafter set forth:

1. Murphy, Middlemas and Henry Lands on Fifth
Avenue extended

ALL those lots, pieces or parcels of land situate,
lying and being in the Third Election District for
Caroline County, Maryland on the easterly side of Fifth
Avenue extended (same being old Maryland State Route No.
404) and more fully described as follows: BEGINNING for
the outbounds thereof at the northeasterly corner of the
intersection of said Fifth Avenue and South Avenue and at
the southwesterly corner of the lot of Virginia G.
