MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

Cambridge that Section 74 entitled "Permit to sell cider"
of the Charter of said municipal corporation be, and the
same is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this
Resolution shall become effective on the 27th day of
March, 1974.

CHARTER AMENDMENT
NO. 81-74-34

RESOLUTION of The Commissioners of Cambridge adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume),
titled "Corporation-Municipal" to amend the Charter of
The Commissioners of Cambridge by repealing and
reenacting, with amendments, Section 89, entitled "Water
pipe across Cambridge Creek", of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Dorchester County (1961 Edition), said Code being
Article 10 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled
"Dorchester County", subtitled "Cambridge" to correct
certain erroneous references and change the method of
identification of the pipe.

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED by The Commissioners of
Cambridge that the Charter of said municipal corporation
be, and the same is hereby amended by repealing and
reenacting, with amendments, said Section 89 to read as
follows:

89. Water pipe across Cambridge Creek.

It shall not be lawful for any master, owner or
person in charge of any boat, canoe or vessel, or for any
other person, to cast or throw overboard any anchor,
ballast, scrape, dredge or other heavy instrument within
ten feet on either side of the pipe or water main of the
[Cambridge Water Company] MUNICIPAL UTILITIES COMMISSION
across Cambridge Creek in Dorchester County; provided,
that the said [Cambridge Water Company] MUNICIPAL
UTILITIES COMMISSION shall keep the line of said pipe
marked [or buoyed,] by placing at [least three buoys
thereupon] EACH END OF SAID PIPE A SUITABLE SIGN
INDICATING THE LOCATION OF SAID PIPE.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this section or who shall wilfully, maliciously or
