power to accept trust funds and benefits and to act as
Trustee under any instrument devising, bequeathing or
otherwise giving money, property or other things of value
for the benefit of the City of Cambridge or other public
purpose, whether such instruments shall have been
executed heretofore or hereafter.
SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this
Resolution shall become effective the 12th day of March,
1974.

CHARTER AMENDMENT
NO. 49-74-2
RESOLUTION of The Commissioners of Cambridge adopted
pursuant to Article 11E of the Constitution of Maryland
and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume) , entitled "Corporation
— Municipal" to amend the Charter of The Commissioners of
Cambridge by repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Section 28 entitled "Boundaries of Hards", Subsection (c)
entitled "Second Ward" and Subsection (e) entitled
"Fourth Hard" to reflect the change of boundaries in
those respective wards produced by annexation.
SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED by The Commissioners of
Cambridge that the Charter of said municipal corporation
be, and the same is hereby amended by repealing and
reenacting, with amendments, Subsection (c) entitled
"Second Ward" and Subsection (e) entitled "Fourth Ward"
of Section 28 entitled "Boundaries of Wards" to read as
follows:
28. Boundaries of Wards
(c) Second Ward: Beginning for the outlines
of the same at the Southeast corner of High and Gay
Streets: (1) thence in a Southerly direction parallel to
Pine Street to a bounder planted in the middle of Muir
Street distant 483 feet in a Westward direction from the
West curb of Race Street; (2) thence in a line parallel to
Pine Street in a Southward direction 194.7 feet to a
bounder there planted: (3) thence in an Easterly
direction 348 feet to the Northwest corner of the
warehouse used by Feldmans and owned by Albanus Phillips,
said bounder being 134 feet from the West curb of Race
Street; (4) thence Southward parallel to Pine Street to a
bounder planted in the middle of Washington Street; (5)
