4076 CERTIFICATIONS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1974, an Act known as Chapter 632
of the Acts of 1973 was submitted to the voters of the
State of Maryland under the Provisions of Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
as follows:
AN ACT to propose an amendment to Section 3 of
Article VI of the Constitution of Maryland, title
"Treasury Department," to provide that the Legislature
may authorize a system of disbursing funds other than by
the use of checks, and providing for the submission of
this amendment to the qualified voters of the State of
Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
286,655 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
632 and 284,016 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 632, the said Chapter 632 of the Acts of
1973 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of the State of Maryland.
