Expense a lien on property

FOR the purpose of increasing the price paid per item to
newspapers for publishing notices of public auction.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill
1268.

This bill increases the advertising price paid to
newspapers in Prince George's County for publishing
notices of public auction.

Senate Bill 982, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 15, 1975, accomplishes
the same purpose as House Bill 1268.

Therefore, it is unnecessary for me to sign House
Bill 1268.

problems of this State; providing for certain duties

unemployment and a Public Employment Task Force in
this State.
