MARVIN MANDEL, Governor                       3965

Parking Commission of Baltimore City; providing
certain conditions which must be complied with
before the proceeds of the said certificates of
indebtedness may be expended; authorizing said
municipality to submit an ordinance or ordinances
for said purpose to the legal voters of Baltimore
City; and providing generally for the issuance and
sale of said certificates of indebtedness.

May 15, 1975.
Honorable Steny H. Hoyer
President of the Senate
State House
Annapolis, Maryland

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill
703.

This bill authorizes Baltimore City to borrow five
million seven hundred fifty thousand dollars to develop
off—street parking facilities.

House Bill 1072, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on April 22, 1975, accomplishes
the same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 703.

Sincerely,

/s/ Marvin Mandel

Governor

Senate Bill No. 803 - Perjury; District Court Rules

AN ACT concerning

Perjury — Maryland District Court Rules

FOR the purpose of extending perjury penalties to false
statements under the Maryland District Court Pules;
and clarifying language.

May 15, 1975.
