RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That
the General Assembly approves the amendments to the
Standard Travel Regulations adopted by the Board of
Public Works at its meeting on January 23, 1975; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be sent to
the Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning.

A Senate Joint Resolution concerning
Historical Buildings
FOR the purpose of urging the Maryland Historical Trust
to expedite an inventory of Maryland's Revolutionary
Landmarks.
WHEREAS, Landmarks of the Revolutionary period are
abundant throughout the State of Maryland; and
WHEREAS, The State of Maryland is rich in buildings
and sites of the Revolutionary period; and
WHEREAS, These landmarks are both sites and
structures used for purposes of courthouses, churches,
meeting places, schools, taverns, residences, warehouses,
mills, industrial sites, shipping ports, Indian old
towns. These landmarks, although tangible evidences of a
stirring period of the nation's history illuminating the
past and giving Marylanders needed perspective for the
future, are largely unmarked; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That
the General Assembly urges the Maryland Historical Trust,
the agency of the State responsible for completing the
Maryland Register of historic sites and places, to use
the funds appropriated by the General Assembly for this
purpose to expedite an inventory of Maryland's
Revolutionary Landmarks to be completed no later than
1977; and be it further
