[Ch. 892

areas surrounding the said Town which are described as
follows: Area 1. Beginning for the same at the
intersection of United States Route No. 1 and the
southerly limits of the Town of Laurel presently excluded
from the application of this subsection, thence with the
southerly and westerly limits of said Town as the same
have been established by laws in effect as of April 1,
1968 to the intersection of said Town limits and the
centerline of the right—of—way selected for construction
of proposed Route I—95, thence with the centerline of
said right—of—way southwesterly to Contee Road, thence
easterly with Contee Road to United States Route 1 and
thence northeasterly to the point of beginning.

Area 2. Beginning for the same at the intersection
of the westerly limits of the Town of Laurel as existed
prior to the said annexation effective April 1, 1968 and
the Patuxent River (County Line), thence westerly with
the Patuxent River to the centerline of the right—of—way
selected for construction of proposed Route I—95, thence
with the centerline of said right—of—way southwesterly to
the Town of Laurel limits as presently exist subsequent
to the said April 1, 1968 annexation being the northern
intersection of said limits and said centerline of
proposed Route I—95, thence easterly, southerly,
easterly, northeasterly, and northerly with the Town
limits to the point of beginning.

Area 3. Beginning for the same at the intersection
of the Patuxent River (County Line) and easterly limits
of said Town of Laurel as presently exist subsequent to
the annexation effective April 1, 1968, thence
southwesterly and southeasterly with said Town limits to
the southernmost corner of the property of I.W. Berman,
Liber 2866, Polio 19; thence North 68° 58' 50" East, 517
feet; thence South 10° 57' 10" East, 2029.50 feet; thence
South 09° 41' 10" East, 2158.60 feet to the Patuxent
River (County Line) , thence northerly along said River to
the point of beginning.

2. That portion of the Queen Anne Election
District (No. 7) which is located to the north of the
John Hanson Highway (U.S. Route 50), and being wore
particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point where the centerline of the
John Hanson Highway (U.S. Route 50) intersects the
easternmost boundary of Prince George's County in the
Patuxent River and running thence in and with the said
County line, and River, in a northerly direction to its
point of intersection with the boundary line of that
portion of the Maryland—Washington Metropolitan District,
as the same was established by Chapter 738 of the Laws of
1963; being also the southernmost property line of the
