2. The remainder of the proceeds of such
loan shall be credited on the books of the State
Comptroller, to be expended as needed by the State, upon
approval by the Board of Public Works, for the following
needs, purposes and projects, and amounts listed below
being intended to include Architects' and Engineers' fees
where applicable:

1 Annapolis (Anne Arundel County):

(a) To supplement the appropriation
"Design and preparation of de-
tailed plans and specifications
for two (2) State Office Build-
ings for the Department of Agri-
culture, the Department of Eco-
nomic and Community Development
and other State agencies..." as
shown on page 1263 of the Acts
of 1974; Section 8 of Chapter
289 of the Acts of 1974 being
hereby modified to the extent
that said work may begin upon
satisfactory assurances to the
Board of Public Works that said
project can be completed with
the aggregate of the funds here-
in and heretofore appropriated

(b) Acquisition of land and parking

garage currently under construction

by Anne Arundel County at Washington,

Clay and Calvert Streets, Annapolis

for the purpose of providing the

State with additional parking and

making available to Anne Arundel

approval of an agreement to purchase

the land and parking garage from Anne

Arundel County at a price not to

exceed $5,600,000, the appropriation

made by Chapter 195 of the Acts of
