AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County — Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of changing the requirements on the
issuance of certain Class B and Class D alcoholic
beverage licenses relating to a specific requirement
on the licensed premises in Baltimore County; and
clarifying language.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 14(c), 16(d), 19(c) and 21(d)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 14(c), 16(d), 19(c) and 21(d) of
Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)
be and they are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

14.

(c)   In Baltimore County the annual license fee
shall be [one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00)] $150.
THE AREA OF THE LICENSED PREMISES NORMALLY USED AS A
RESTAURANT FOR [[CONSUMPTION]] THE PREPARATION AND
CONSUMPTION OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE ON THE PREMISES MAY
OCCUPY NO LESS THAN [[85]] 80 PERCENT OF THE SQUARE FOOT
AREA.

(d)       In Baltimore County the annual fee for such a
license shall be [one hundred dollars ($100.00)] $100.
THE AREA OF THE LICENSED PREMISES NORMALLY USED FOR
[[CONSUMPTION]] THE PREPARATION AND CONSUMPTION OF
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON THE PREMISES MAY OCCUPY NO LESS
THAN [[85]] 80 PERCENT OF THE SQUARE FOOT AREA.

(c) In Baltimore County the annual fee for such a
license shall be [one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)]
