statement required by this subtitle, for the calendar
year immediately preceding the year in which that
certificate of candidacy is filed.

(b-2) Except for a person who has filed a statement
pursuant to subsection (a) above for the same year OR
PORTION OF THE SAME YEAR for which a statement otherwise
would be required to be filed by this subsection, each
candidate for nomination for, or election to, an office
set forth in subsections 29-3 (j), (k), (1), or (m) above
shall file UNDER OATH OR AFFIRMATION with the appropriate
local board of election supervisors, at the same time
that person's certificate of candidacy is filed, the
statement required by this subtitle, for the calendar
year immediately preceding the year in which that
certificate of candidacy is filed.

(b-3) If the certificate of candidacy is filed prior
to January 1 of the year in which the election is held,
the candidate [shall], on or before the last day for the
withdrawal of candidacy, SHALL file UNDER OATH OR
AFFIRMATION a supplementary statement for the calendar
year immediately preceding the election; and if he fails
to do so, after written notice of his obligation, given
at least 20 days prior to the last day for the withdrawal
of candidacy, he shall be deemed to have withdrawn his
candidacy.

29-5.

The statement required to be filed by this subtitle
shall contain schedules disclosing the following
interests of the person making the statement, together
with the following information, for the calendar year for
which the required statement is to be filed:

(d) A schedule of each gift [[of property]] in
excess of $50 in value [[and each gift of money, of
whatever amount, including the forgiveness of any
liability,]] received at any time during the year for
which the statement is filed by the person making the
statement, or by any other person at the direction of the
person making the statement, from, or on behalf of,
directly or indirectly, any [person who does business
with the State or is regulated by the State;] person who
does business with the State or is regulated by the
State[[BUSINESS ENTITY]], OR IS A REGISTERED LEGISLATIVE
AGENT; provided, however, neither gifts received from the
spouse or a relative within the third degree of
consanguinity of the person making the statement, or from
the spouse of any such relative, nor campaign
contributions which are otherwise reported as required by
law, need be disclosed. This schedule, as to each such
gift, shall include:
