BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section [[l4(g)(3), 52A, 52A-1, 99 and 164(b)]]

13(h), 14(g)(1) and (3), 52A, and 99

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections [[14(g)(3), 52A, 52A-1, 99 and
164(b)]] 13(h), 14(g)(1) and (3), 52A, and 99 of Article
2B — Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be
and they are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

13.

(h) In Harford County the annual license fee for
such license shall be [seventy—five dollars ($75.00)] $75
and shall be granted by the liquor control board of
Harford County only to proprietors of bona fide retail
stores -selling food, drugs, or other similar commodities
fas designated by the liquor control board] AMOUNTING TO
AT LEAST 20% OF THE TOTAL MONTHLY RECEIPTS. Such license
will authorize the licensee to sell for consumption off
the premises only, [not less than six bottles or cans of
brewed beverages as defined in this article, and not less
than one fifth of a gallon of fermented beverages as
defined herein:] FERMENTED BEVERAGES INCLUDING SPLIT
BOTTLES AND BREWED BEVERAGES IN NORMAL CONTAINERIZED
PACKAGES: provided that brewed beverages sold in bottles
or cans exceeding 12 ounces in weight or size, for
consumption off the premises, may be sold [in a numerical
quantity of less than six] INDIVIDUALLY. No brewed
beverages shall be authorized to contain more than six
per centum of alcohol by volume and wine and other
fermented beverages shall not contain more than 23% by
volume. The word "premises" for the purpose of this
section shall be construed to include any building,
parking lot, terrace or grounds which form an integral
part of the licensed premises. The holder of a license
hereunder also may purchase a special Sunday off—sale
only license upon payment of an additional fee of
[seventy—five dollars ($75.00) ] $75.

(g) (1) There shall be established in Harford
County a "Class B—1 restaurant license" which may be
