SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 212(c) of the Public Local Laws of
St. Mary's County being Article 19 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1965 Edition and 1974 Supplement,
as amended) be and it is hereby repealed:
Article 19
212.
[(c) Designated members of the Youth Commission
shall be: the Superintendent of Schools for the County or
his designee; the Director of the Department of Social
Services or his designee; the County Health Officer or
his designee; the Commanding Officer, Naval Air Station,
Patuxent River, Maryland or his designee; the President
of the County Ministerial Association or his designee;
the Dean of the Catholic Clergy of the County or his
designee; the ranking officer of the State Police
Detachment or his designee; a member of the Board of
County Commissioners or its designee; the State's
Attorney of the county or his designee; the director of
Juvenile Services Administration or his designee; and the
Sheriff of St. Mary's County or his designee. The
remaining members shall be selected by the designated
members and shall be citizens of the County, not
