AN ACT concerning

Washington Suburban Sanitary District
Advance taking Authority
MC 61A-75

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Montgomery County
Council, in accordance with the Constitution of
Maryland, to enact local legislation providing for
the taking[[, prior to condemnation,]] by the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission of land and
interests in land located in Montgomery County
needed immediately in accordance with the county's
adopted ten year water and sewerage plan and adopted
capital improvements program for the construction of
wastewater treatment facilities, including delivery
facilities, or for water supply and sanitary
sewerage projects required for the correction of
immediate health problems; and specifying the
procedure and requirements that shall apply to the
use by the Commission of the advance taking option.

Montgomery County being Article 16 of the Code of Public
