AN ACT concerning

Worcester County — Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of altering the tenure of the members of
the Worcester County liquor board; and specifying
certain terms for those members appointed on a
certain date.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 159 (d) (5) and (e)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 159 (d) (5) and (e) of Article 2B
— Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and they
are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

159.

(d) In computing the time at which appointments to
the several boards normally expire, and when new terms of
office begin, the following dates shall be used:

(5) Worcester County—[June 1, 1945.] JUNE
1, 1975. INITIAL APPOINTMENTS SHALL BE FOR TWO, THREE
AND FOUR YEARS. THEIR SUCCESSORS SHALL BE APPOINTED TO
REGULAR FOUR YEAR TERMS.
