MEMBER RETIRES. IN THE EVENT A MEMBER DIES IN ACTIVE
SERVICE WHILE PAYING FOR CREDIT, AND IF THE CREDIT
QUALIFIES FOR BENEFITS UNDER SECTION 195(8)(B), THE
SURVIVING SPOUSE MAY PAY FOR THE APPROPRIATE FINAL
ADJUSTMENT FOR SUCH OUT-OF-STATE OR PUBLIC SCHOOL
TEACHING OR POST SECONDARY TEACHING SERVICE AS HE MAY
HAVE CLAIMED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

[[Carroll County — Property Tax Credit]]
Property Taxes and Assessments — Farm Silos

[[FOR the purpose of exempting certain silos from certain
taxation in Carroll County, Allegany County,
Baltimore County, Frederick County, Garrett County,
Kent County, and Queen Anne's County; and adding
numbering as appropriate.]]

FOR the purpose of providing for the exclusion from the
valuation of real property for county purposes in
several counties of farm silos used for animal feeds
and removing a specific reference to a property tax
credit in Cecil County for farm silos.

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,
