from July 1 of the year of appointment and until his
successor is appointed and qualified, except that among
the members first appointed, two shall be appointed for
terms of two years, and two shall be appointed for terns
of four years, and until their successors are appointed
and qualified. If a member's tenure of office is
terminated for any reason before his term has expired,
the Governor shall fill the vacancy by the appointment of
a person who has the same representative status as the
person whose term has been so terminated, and the new
appointee shall hold office only for the remainder of
such term and until his successor is appointed and
qualified.
(c) The Board shall employ a qualified person as
the executive director of the Board, and such other
employees as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes
of this subtitle. The salaries of such employees and the
administrative expenses of the Board shall be as provided
in the annual budget. MEMBERS SHALL BE REIMBURSED FOR
EXPENSES INCURRED WHILE ACTUALLY ENGAGED IS THE
PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS.
(d) The Board shall meet at least once in each
fiscal year, and may meet at such other times as the
chairman may designate.
SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning
State Agencies — Reimbursement for Expenses
FOR the purpose of providing that certain members and
other agents of certain State agencies, boards and
commissions shall be reimbursed for expenses
incurred in the actual performance of their duties
in accordance with the Standard Travel Regulations
as promulgated by the Department of Public Works.
