Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be
and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
Article 65 — Militia
79.
The terms of the members of this Commission shall be
for five years, but of the first five (5) commissioners
appointed by the Governor and of the first five (5)
appointed by the mayor of Baltimore, one shall be
appointed for a term of five (5) years, one for a term of
four years, one for a term of three (3) years, one for a
term of two (2) years, and one for a term of one (1)
year, from June 30, 1924. Said Commission is hereby
authorized to elect a chairman, a vice-chairman, a
secretary and a treasurer, or a secretary-treasurer. No
member of said Commission shall receive any salary or
compensation, except payment of [actual] expenses IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS
authorized by a vote of the Commission and so recorded in
its minutes.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
52(b) of Article 78A - Public Works, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

(b) The members of the Commission shall serve at
the pleasure of the Secretary of General Services. They
shall receive no salary but may be compensated from time
to time for treasonable] expenses IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS, incurred in the discharge of
their duties. From time to time the Secretary of
General Services, with the approval of the Governor,
shall appoint one member of the Commission to serve as
its chairman.
SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
2—304(a) of Article — Natural Resources, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
